The Dragon Stroll
- Friday Night -
The Dragon Gauntlet: Chapter Two will commence Friday evening as dragon riders descend on Boyne City. For one night, this charming town will transform into The Northern Vale, where candidates and cadets can mingle and meander the streets. The Fantasy Fangirls will kick off the evening’s festivities with a lakeside liveshow, featuring a very special guest that will be joining us all the way from the UK! Grab a blanket to sprawl out on the grass with fellow cadets as we watch two sisters dive deep into fantasy books and lore.
After the live show has concluded, we welcome you to visit participating businesses for dragon themed menus, bookish wares, live entertainment, and cosplay contests!

The Dragon Gauntlet
- Saturday Morning -
As dawn breaks over Boyne Mountain, soar up the hillside by chairlift to face your first task of the day, the Parapet. First years and second years alike will test their courage by crossing the world’s longest timber-tower suspension bridge to reach their fellow cadets at Formation. Here you will form your squads and enjoy select vendors, meet & greets with special guests, capture photos, and prepare for the upcoming challenges with a guided warm-up-stretch before the Dragon Gauntlet ensues.
Your commanding officer will provide you with a battle briefing and then the challenge begins! Rally your squad and venture down the mountain to face the Dragon Gauntlet, a custom built scavenger course featuring over 50 challenges including obstacles trivia, and more to test your dragon knowledge! Employ your strength and endurance as you and your squad overcome obstacles along the trails of Boyne Mountain. Strategize your path forward as you wield knowledge from across the quadrants to unravel riddles and word problems…and beware of encroaching darkness. Friends and foe are all around you!

You've spent the day training like a dragon rider and now it's time to party like one! Indulge in a night of royal revelry at the Dragon Gauntlet Awards Ceremony. Don your finest attire, mingle with fellow cadets, and savor a delectable dinner and enchanted libations.
Celebrate your heroic feats during the Awards Ceremony, hosted by a very special guest. Top squads will earn special rewards and recognition for their accomplishments, and all cadets will have the chance to win magical prizes, including two tickets to our upcoming Celestial Summit on Valentine’s Day 2026.
